Lyyke Li - I Follow Rivers

What an incredibly talented artist, and this music video is pure art. I love when she trips in her shoes, throws them off, and starts running full force in the snow.

And then there's that ending...

"Fear less, hope more; Eat less, chew more; Whine less, breathe more; Talk less, say more; Love more, and all good things will be yours."

Adam

I'd been anticipating watching "Adam" ever since I came across it on one of my indie flick browsing binges. I was finally able to live out the fantasy and have it in my own DVD player, thanks to the movie-watching service sent to us from a higher power, Netflix. It's like...you watch one, send it back to heaven, and another one comes in its place. If that's not a religious experience, I don't know what is.

"Adam" was a beautiful movie. I could rave on and on about it, but all I'll say is that its a gorgeous portrayal of two people learning more about the world and each other, than they ever hoped they would. Hopefully, the trailer and a track from the movie's gorgeous soundtrack will be enough reason for you to change up on your Netflix queue.

A Visual Life

A great, short film made on the talented Sartorialist photographer and blogger. Yes, I've featured him and his work at least three times in my last four postings, but he is worth the repetition!

"You never know what it is that draw you to that person. You just let it happen, its odd, but you know its almost like going out there and letting yourself fall in love everyday."

To My Wife

A hilarious and heart-felt ode to one man's future misses.

Come In Please

This Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes song sounds straight out of the "Almost Famous" era.

On repeat.

A Look at the Sartorialist

A wonderful profile by the NY Times LENS blog, on influential street photographer Scott Schuman of the Sartorialist. I can say that my day isn't complete without a visit to his blog, and my favorite people featured are often the laborers or those with less money, but a creative personal style. Additionally, I'm an enormous fan of all black and aviators when the rest of my closet (or life) somewhat fails me.
